Mainstay Lettings is changing

As part of our efforts to provide an outstanding service, Mainstay Lettings is becoming part of Campions Group.

Why are we changing?

Becoming part of a wider group allows us to benefit from a stronger and wider network, meaning you will benefit from smoother processes, a larger pool of tenants for landlords and a greater choice of properties for tenants.

What does this mean for me?

Initially, very little will change, you might start receiving correspondence from Campions. Some of the people you work with on a day-to-day basis will remain the same, but you might also see some new names popping up too.

Longer term there will be some changes affecting things such as bank accounts and registration information, but don’t worry, we’ll contact you about any changes as and when they are due to happen, plus you can find further information below.

 Changes for Landlords

  • Campions Property Management Limited and Campions Lettings and Sales are the names you’ll to see in communications going forward.

  • Tenants' deposits will be updated with The Deposit Protection Scheme (DPS) to reflect the change of name.

  • Payments will start to come from a new bank account. For reference only (no action required), the account details are shown below:

    Bank account name – Campions Property Letting & Management Limited - No.6 - transaction account

    Account number – 8388 8045

    Sort code - 20-59-50

  • One immediate change that you will need to action is your registration to the UK Government’s Non-Resident Landlords (NRL) scheme. You will need to ensure your registration and exemption forms are re-registered to Campions scheme number (NA001466) to remain compliant. You can find more information about the scheme on the UK Government’s website.

 Changes for Tenants

  • • Your rent will now need to be paid into a new bank account, meaning you will need to update your payment details. The new bank account details are:

    Bank account name – Campions Property Letting & Management Limited - No.6 - transaction account

    Account number – 8388 8045

    Sort code - 20-59-50

  • Campions Property Management Limited and Campions Lettings and Sales are the names you’ll to see in communications going forward.

  • Your deposit will remain protected with Deposit Protection Scheme (DPS) with the agent details being amended to reflect the change of name. There is no action needed from you, but you may receive an email from DPS to confirm this has happened.

  • Repairs can be reported in the sale way, here.
